dum dum da dum, dum DUM da dum

Please excuse my attempt at “Here Comes the Bride”, but I keep humming is as we prepare to leave for my cousin Graham’s wedding.

The wedding is at his fiance’s house, in Turner, south of Portland. That alone should make the drive longer, as we will have to wade through all the Friday evening rush hour(s) traffic, as well as teh people who came to see Bush or Kerry today.

And they actually chose today to hold the wedding BECAUSE it was Friday the 13. See, he was born on a Friday the 13, she was born on a 13, and they got engaged on a 13. So they decided to get married on the 13.

Graham’s older brother got engaged just a few days after Graham got engaged, and will get married in late September. There is one other boy in the family, and the Father jokes that he has imposed a two year moratorium on marriages.

So that’s that, and we are set to leave in just a few minutes, once we finish watering, and I get my shoes on, and such.

dum dum-dum-dum da-da-dum dum da dum…….(or something)

  1. That’s so cool! I hope you had fun at the wedding. My grandpa’s birthday was on the 13, and he was always so happy when it fell on a Friday. They’re always fun.
