Well, I have a digital camera, and I often bring it with me to work, or wherever I'm going, because you never know when I might want to take a picture of something...anything! On the way home from work, I saw a sunset that I thought was too cool mot to take a picture of. There's a place above Carson, where you can see the whole city, and I went up there to take a picture of the sunset. I got out of the car and walked a few yards, and took the picture (it's posted
here). I went back to the car, and I had locked the keys inside. The bad thing was that even though I could see the main part of town, I was up on a bluff, and it was maybe 3/4 mile or so to the nearest building. So I jogged down the hill, and ended up stopping at the tavern to ask to use the phone. My dad came and picked me up, and we went back to unlock the car. By the time I got home, it was 9:40, I got off work at 9:00.
The kicker is that the next day at work, Kathy told me that she had been swamped almost immediately after I'd gone home, and if she'd known, she would have had me stay. I wouldn't have seen the sunset, I would have been paid another half hour, and I would have gotten home about the same time. Oh well, now I have another story!
